Anders Lindegaard has signed a new four-year deal with Manchester United, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2015/16 season.

But his status as Sir Alex's first choice was unfortunately brief; a knee injury sustained in training ended his season prematurely.

Sir Alex acknowledged Lindegaard's development and admitted the Dane has the potential to pose him a number of selection dilemmas in the forthcoming campaign.
